Please if you are in Kentucky, do not miss this gem of a place, Firefly Hills! It's run by a wonderful couple, Troy and Tonja, and trust me, it's not just lodging, it's EXPERIENCE. Firefly Hills is not only an RV park, they also rent rooms in their beautifully decorated farmhouse. There are three rooms which share a very large and comfortable bathroom. We were all by ourselves the first several days, but later when some other guests arrived, we didn't have any discomfort sharing the bathroom, everyone was cool and respectful to each other. We gathered on the front porch in the evenings or had a campfire and shared stories and it was such a wonderful quality time. I am not even mentioning a fresh vegetable garden everyone can use and a giant jacuzzi, which is an absolute delight! As far as RV park, RVers take notes: Troy and Tonja are building a huge RV repair shop, because they are RVers themselves and know how hard it is to find a place you can work on your rig. Firefly Hills is not just an RV park, it is a community! Needless to say, if we are ever in the area again, we know where to stay.
